this is what happened to me the other day

I got a phone call on my mobile adverting some new ring tones it was an answer machine and she said that if I hang the phone up I will be charged for a single ring tone that costs £1.50 I was confused on what to do next, but she said if I don’t wish to buy this ring tone I should press “1” now and that’s what I did, and this is what I heard (congratulations you have just brought from us 5 ring tones) I was pissed and they charged me £7.50 and I only got 1 ring tone.

Is there is anything I can do?

sadly no my friend. these companies are ripping people off because you have pressed a key that key may lead you to a purchase report it to offcom though.
