When i grow up i want to be....

i just thought it would be interesting to think about what we wanted to be when we were kids. Model? pilot? nurse? farmer??????

I always wanted to be a doctor but i didn't really think of all the work involved when i was a kid! all i used to think of were sweets and barbie dolls, but then not much has changed


what did you guys want to be and have you achieved this or did you lose interest in your childhood dream?

When I was a kid I wanted to be a hairdresser for horses lol... I used to watch the Dressage's and love how the tails were braided lol...

This dream has not come true unfortunately - As they say, when I was a kid I wanted a career, but it turns out all wanted was a salary!

It is never too late to turn that dream into a reality! of course there are all sorts of challenges in whichever avenue one chooses to pursue, but if you have the 3 Ds you can make it. The 3Ds being: Desire, Dedication and Determination! No one will hand it to you on a plate! If a door is slammed in your face...keep knocking!...if it won't open...break it down!

For most of my childhood years & teens I had my heart set on being a teacher; it just seemed natural that that's what I'd become. Now all that has changed and I'm interested in either nursery nursing or midwifery...but as LDNgirl put it, the need for a salary rather than career has become apparent, lol. So I'm scouring the job pages looking for an oh so thrilling admin job to tide me over....oh well, inshallah khair
