Just wondering if anyone has been there lately? It's been tiiiiiiiime since I last made an appearance there; last I heard all the ilegal Algis had abandoned it and it's since become overrun with tourists rather than the traditional north African contingent? It was jokes though....

I've never been
I've heard its a real north african place though We live miles from london but got leaflet one day advertising Trocadera (or something) and on it had a brief synopsis about Dar Marakesh, it went

"Good food, Drinks and Hashish" Couldn't believe it!

looooool @ hashish! Actually I have to say, there were a few occaisions <sp?!> where I saw some Moros/Algis trying to sneak some hash into their hubbly bubbly, lol.

that place is 2 crowded and dark!

I prefer open spaces, 2 many people in a small area make me feel so uneasy!!!!!
