Salam LDNgirl...you *are* joking about HFW eating a woman's placenta?!?!? I'm just addicted to housekeeping/cookery shows, and sadly it seems most TV chefs are repulsive so I have no option but to bear their ugly mugs as I watch my progs

Sam - She stopped speaking to me ages ago! I thought you and her were in touch? Apparently not

Salam Nads!

Yes placenta!! I love Nigella! The perfect housewife isn't she. The male cooks, apart from Jon Chrisoff Novelli, do not do it for me I'm afraid. They are all too clinical in the way they cook.

Nigella always impresses me because she manages to remain so calm and unruffled throughout it all, lol. Only thing is I find there's too much emphasis on alcohol in her recipes; obviously it's understandable because she's a kaafir, but there are some recipes that sound lovely and it's impossible to find an ingredient to replace the alcohol. In some things you can avoid red wine/sherry etc by using stock for example, but there are others where it just doesn't work!

I'm not sure if I know who you're talking about, although the name souns vaguely familiar...there's one Italian guy who often features on Saturday Morning Kitchen who I really like - nice simple recipes that are utterly delicious and very easy to adapt to your own tastes. Mmmm!
