This issue is not equality or superiority. Both of you have blown all comments COMPLETELY out of proportion; as if you have no idea of exactly whatI mean.

Furthermore, to dismiss a very real situation because of some liberal happy-clappy notion is ridiculous. I appreciate your reasoning but your conclusion is wrong. Of course we are all individuals. However, there are common characteristics which join groups of people together. In addition, how we are raised & where we are from have direct effects on who we are.
At the end of the day, we have divergent views of this situation. Will agree to disagree with this one

Im afraid i cant put it any better than MoMo.

It is not a case of blowing comments out of proportion, its very clear what you meant.
Why go through life with tunnel vision? open your mind and experience the qualities that others have even if they are differnt from yours or the 'norm'. Simply because someone is different bears no relation to their worth, and some friendly advice... remember that before Allah SWT we are ALL equal. Keep that in mind next time you visit east or south london

I also believe very strongly in Karma, what goes around comes around! Your perception of larachians may be equal to another communities perception of you...

Ma salam

Salam MoMo

Research is the way forward and seems to be prevalent in the majority of professions nowadays. Which is a good thing i feel. So do you have a specialist area of interest in terms of research?

Ghazala is not talking to us now...

I have many research interests, including:

Disaffection of young people from mainstream Educational provision
Ethnic Identity or new ethnicities
Dyslexia and career desitinations
VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) as a teaching/Learning tool in Higher Ed.
Teacher as Researcher

I am working on some of the above topics...some will culminate in contribution to conference...others for the School of Education etc..others on the back burner for now..

I felt it necessary to make that final point...I just can not believe the disrespect of some people.

Very interesting research topics, all the best with them
