After your degree how long did it take to get 'The Job'. The one you want in terms of helping your career and not just the ones that fill the gaps after graduating.

How long is a piece of string?!

Took me 18 months but I know people who graduated with me (many many moons ago lol) & they still havent got 'the job'. Just keep trying - perseverence really does pay off eventually.

Isnt that the truth

Careers just seem really unpredictable, pitty we cant see what is in store for the future...although that would take the fun out things ...

I think a lot of it is to do with the subjects people choose to do @ uni. Wen you're 18, you dont think about work. You think about what you want to study. Its only when you're 21 & about to graduate that you realise that perhaps things are going to be hard in the job market.

Still, everything works out eventually

It doesn't take long for a hot chic to find a job. The opposite is true for ugly women. Now if you are a man, the good you are the better chance you got to get one. Of course you need to factoring all connections that you may have.
