my girlfriend filed for her citizenship last june,we're wondering how long is it gonna take to get scheduled for the interview?? info is appreciated.... thanks.

Tell her to be patient, after 9/11 all applications are taking long time to process specially if you are an Arab.

Depends what state you live in. Mostly it takes up to a year, a year and a half. They finished the background check? Just give the "bureau" a call and find out what's going on. A call puts the dossier back on top of the desk

Like malika said it depends in which state u live in...i dnt live in tha US but ma sister took her less than 8 months to get it (juz recently) its also to do with luck n who's dealing with ur application..juz like Exam papers in Maroc
