Advice from Morocco Theatre Artists (Actor, Musician, Documenter)

I am trying to put together a project in Morocco this July, August. Our small theatre group will perform in a festival in Chefchaouen. We are a volunteer organisation. We are looking for a place to rehearse for the month before August. In the past we have offere free workshops in exchange for rehearsal space. If anyone has any suggestions...

We are also looking for a local actor/musician, videographer or translator that wishes to collaborate with us. You can read about Theatre Amoeba at Theatre Amoeba. Unfortunately the position is not paid, but room and board would be covered if necessary.

One more question... is about renting a house in Morocco. We would like to find a house to rent, but all I can seem to find are luxury villas. Is it possible to find something simple? We are not rich tourists... and would like to live locally. Any advice about anywhere is appreciated!
