Last night the NAS concert at Brixton was stopped as shots were fired in the crowd
when will people grow up?!..I went to a concert of his 2 yrs ago (well almost) the people in the queue were really dodgy and were there to show off,not real musicheads etc there wasn't a good vibe at all,so I sold my tickets (for a large profit of course) and went to a posh restaurant for dinner instead

read on for news of the shooting..soon they will ban hip-hop concerts altogether

" Nas’ show at the Brixton Academy on Monday night (March 21st) was cut short by a shooting in the crowd. Two gun shots were fired in the middle, towards the back of the auditorium, causing people to rush the fire exits in their panic to get to safety.

Nas had been on stage for about 40 minutes when the shots were fired. Armed police arrived within minutes, blocking off Stockwell Road from the main High Road in an effort to secure the crime scene.

The incident was confirmed by a police spokesperson, who said, “Officers were called to the venue at 21.56pm following reports of shots been fired inside. We believe that two shots were fired towards the ceiling. Two bullets and two casings have been recovered from the scene.” A spokeswoman for Brixton Academy, Louise Kovacs, said the venue had been evacuated after a consultation with police and claimed there was “a high level of security” at the venue.

No arrests have been made as yet, and it’s been reported that no one was hurt, but serious questions have been raised as to how the assailant managed to sneak the gun in, especially with the use of handheld metal detectors.

Nas apparently briefly returned to the stage after police had thoroughly checked the area, although many people didn’t feel it safe enough to return, choosing instead to return to their homes. One eyewitness told The Situation, “Everyone was suddenly running towards the doors and I nearly got pushed over. It was scary having something like that happen so close to us, so me and my friends didn’t wanna go back in, even though they were saying that Nas was coming back on.”

The police investigation into the incident continues"

yeah i know

I heard about this earlier.
Off-key, little rude-boys trying to act tough.

You're right though, what with all the violence already associated with Rap/Hiphop it'll be too dangerous to go to a concert.

I'd understand shots fired at busted or girls aloud but Nas?? why?
