DJ Aziz "Morrocan DJ"

Officially the adventure started into 1997 in Transmusicales of Rennes. Between the raï incipient from Faudel, the techno village of Rachid Taha, raggnawachaâbirock of Gnawa Diffusion..., DJ Aziz left free court to ITS PURE ITS ARAB, tagine spiced with the raï, Eastern, jeel, gnawa, chaâbi, kabyle, nubie... The whole spreading with the controlled label of origin: 100% ARAB WORK. Not astonishing of this native of Essaouira, initially rocked in fright the popular gnawa, Tachelhit rate/rhythm, sonorities chaâbi, Egyptian monotonous chants, before being made catch up with like the majority of supposedly normal people, in the years four twenties, by the raï of khaled and Cheb Mami...

DJ Nadia "Morrocan DJ"

Nadia in her own words

Born at 13-06-1985 Deventer and raised there till I was 11 years old then we moved to Utrecht. I’m from Moroccan origin and I have two brothers and two sisters and since 14-05-2003 we have a little cousin cald mounir in the familie.
The arabic music had a big influence on me. Especially the percussive darboeka ,bender ,kasba and violon always fascinated me. The bender ,was a leading instrument on our weddings and party s . The music style chaabi and rai where always my favorite, rai because it has his own flavor , and chaabi it s the popular music of morocco I/we can’t live whit out it ! Whit the time , I learned more about Arabic music in his general , like the gelijien , it s a popular nation music in the most Arabic countries all whit there own flavor , but similar to each other .. I learned, about the oriental music , whit a lot of darboeka and tbar beats. And last , I found a hole world of pop/trance/dance music , it s a hole new culture and a favorite beneath the younger generation .. Like for sample the r&b and hiphop generation back here in Europe and the rest of the world.
