Snoop is hip-hop,if you think that is aggressive then you should check out his gangster rap stuff from the early 90's, your ears may never recover

Exactly! His recent stuff is a lot more "soulful"...if that's the right word?! His work with other artists has really mellowed it out. It's less aggressive. Almost like he's trying to break into another genre altogether. I do like it though. Sometimes the gangsta theme can be a bit repetitive.
