i was asked in my government class to do a poll regarding the death penalty. i dont feel like going up to people and asking them . i think this is a good place to ask.

so what do u guys think about the death penalty ?

hi, i like your style
but i think the best thing is to open a discussion about it on the open board and see what your responses are.
Personally speaking,it's a very complex subject and I find it impossible to say an outright'yes' or 'no'.I would say 'no' but 'yes in some cases'..there are a lot of grey areas and each case is very different from the next.

Before I could answer I would have to know how the judicial system is implemented; what are the checks and balances to insure justice. In the case of Morocco I do not think that it could work as things are.

I lean toward being against the death penalty.. but I'm kinda open minded about all arguments about this issue..

I don't know what the mistake rate is - I only know that after 40 years of having thought of The Rosenbergs as traitors ... they have been cleared of guilt 40 years after their death sentence.
