Moroccan police burnt a Sahrawi citizen

Members of Moroccan police have burnt, the day before yesterday, the Sahrawi citizen Saidi Salek, who was tortured during his arrest with the presence of the police commissioner in the Sahrawi capital Al Ayoun, and that petrol was poured on him and got burnt.
According to the victim family, the two police officers, Hamid Bahri and Bouricha Mouloud, a commissioner in the Moroccan intelligence, were running the questioning, before fire was set in the victim, who was transported to Aghadir hospital, who is in intense care there.
In a declaration to El ****ar, Sahrawi sources declared that Saidi was arrested by the Moroccan police the night of Saturday, alongside with other Sahrawi citizens, and accused them to hold up the Sahrawi flag and the chanting of slogan supporting the independence of the Western Sahara during a wedding ceremony.
The family of the victim wasn’t allowed to approach him before being taken to the hospital, and testimonies say the third of his body was burnt.
In a continuing context, political prisoners who were being kept in the prison were imprisoned again. These prisoners are Twalbi Elhafed and Abdellah Abbah and other two Sahrawi citizens that their identities are not known.
It is worth saying that from the beginning of the Sahrawi upraising in May 2005, many citizens were killed by the police, while hundreds others were injured.

How can we stop the Media from going frenzy for silly reasons like Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty. Agreed, he over did it, but does the media have to follow it so closely and incite the moral police to take to the streets?

And you who wrote this nonsense are simply a nasty racist childish idiot. There's right and wrong on both sides. I personally think that the Sahara is Moroccan, but moronic posts like that one are not at all helpful and simply show the stupidity of the author.

As for Moroccan "military power", if Algeria wanted to invade Morocco, there's little Morocco could do about it. Algeria has some of the best planes, tanks, weapons and naval vessels in the area. These were bought with petro-dollars, something Morocco doesn't have, thus can't keep up with any weapons race, that Algeria has won already! For heaven's sake, be realistic. Patriotism is one thing, but a wilful refusal to face facts is pathetic. After all, it was easy for the Polisario to knock Mauritania out of the game early on and to penetrate as far as Marrakesh some years ago and the only reason that this was not repeated was that huge help was given to Morocco to construct the "berm" by the UK and the USA.

Unfortunately, people like you seem to get their views from papers such as "Le Matin"; just go to the Sahara, as I have, and have a chat with the people there. The whole story about Tindouf is a lie. Remember, I'm on Morocco's side! The Sahraouis wish to remain part of Morocco, it's true, at least most of them, but there's a lot more to it than the simplistic crap you are coming out with.
