Salam to all my Moroccan sisters and brothers who may look at this thread for some insipration..

I just want to start of with a quote from our beloved prophet Mohammed PBUH:

"When a man marries, he has fulfilled half of his religion, so let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half."

As you will tell i am looking to get mairried inshallah and you may ask why? Which is a good question and i shall point you to another great quote from our prophet:

"The worst among you are your bachelors"

Now alot of people may come up with other reasons and Allah knows i have those as well but for me, i realise that out of all of the reasons why i want to get married those two seem to be the best reasons why i want to get married. I dont think any brother can think of a better reason to be honest, but saying that before you even deciede you want to get married you must have Nia (intention) in your heart. Wallah sisters i have the nia..

Also i believe by getting married you are not just getting a wife, you are getting your whole world. From now until the rest of your days your wife will be your partner, your companion, and your best friend.

She will share your moments, your days, and your years. She will share your joys and sorrows, your successes and failures, your dreams and your fears. When you are ill, she will take the best care of you; when you need help, she will do all she can for you;

When you have a secret, she will keep it; when you need advice, she will give you the best advice. She will always be with you: when you wake up in the morning the first thing your eyes will see will be hers; during the day, she will be with you, if for a moment she is not with you by her physical body, she will be thinking of you, praying for you with all her heart, mind, and soul; when you go to sleep at night, the last thing your eyes will see will be her; and when you are asleep you will still see her in your dreams. In short, she will be your whole world and you will be her whole world.

So what i am looking for......

I am not looking for "Ms perfect"! I dont think she exists...i am not really sure this is a tough one. I just want a good women what ever that is. I dont like to judge and in someways i am kind of excluding alot of good women if i put down some kind of requirement list..which is wrong and not how relationships are built...ok so i will do it this way, i like to do the following things and if those things interest you or you find intriguing then send me a private message...

I like to drink mint tea ( which moroccan does not)
Surf...Yes i know
Snowboarding....Trust me the only Moroccan on the slopes..LOOOL!
Travelling......The good old travelling one, who does not and i got few good travelling stories to tell.
Cinema.....Nothing i would not love to do with my wife then go to the cinema after a long day at work
Fine dining...Love a good meal, so look forward to some romtantic dinners for two at a michelin star restaurant(HALAL of course)

Walking..become a real fan of this, trust me it helps alot in so many ways
hmmm camel racing....LOOOOL ok that one is a joke...

Ok thats just a brief guide to me, but there is alot more to find out and wallah its all good things...

Ok broing stuff:

I am 27 years old and my home town is London, please bear that in mind. I dont mind where you come from because for me that has no bearing on the relationship...Inshallah. I will travel to any country you my reside in if i know there is a chance my wife could be there...Alhamduallah.

I don't think a woman likes to hear she isn't perfect... Don't you think, if you love someone she is perfect to you? So in fact every person on earth is perfect but on his own way.

I didn't know moroccans don't like mint tea..!!?!! We love mint tea in Holland!! Even the Dutch people!

I think we have a lost in translation moment Jihane. The point i was trying to make is that there are brothers out there looking for what can only be described as the "perfect women". For me i am not looking for that. I have to come to realise that as humans we are in perfect and allah built us this way for a reason so that when we sin, we have the choice to repent and that is to Allah. This is being Human...I can refer you to some good examples of this. Read the story of prophet Adam PBUH and how he forget his promise that he gave to give 100 years of his life to the Prophet Yusuf PBUH.

Now i understand your other point, no women likes to hear she is in perfect. Of course not. I am just as romantatic as the next guy. For me i like to think that in my in perfect eyes my wife will not just be perfect to me but also very special..Love is very key to me....and i think i got a lot to give inshallah.


Mint tea i dont think i said i hate mint tea, if i did i want to set the record straight. I LOVE mint tea and boy can i make a bad *** one as well...and just for the hell of it i can even pour like a freshie Moroccan..LOOOL!

Jihane as a Moroccan it is your duty to spread our culture to Holland, so have a Mint tea day with all your dutch friends...

There is a saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...so if you think of perfection in the physical form then everyone is indeed beautiful to someone.

Another saying "Beauty is only skin deep" also true, A beautiful person is nothing if they have an empty place where their heart should be.

Most important thing I think you can do to show your love for another is treat them as an equal. I would not want to be put on a pedastal and treated like a queen who should be protected and sheltered. I would prefer to be seen as an equal and my opinions respected and valued. To be understood as well as I understand myself. To know when I'm sad and understand the reasons why....and also how to make me happy again.
