I saw loads of films - but most of them were forgettable!

hmm my choice would be: Blade Trinity - I would watch that film again.

same with me .. I watched a lot .. but after that, a movie stays in your mind .. you remember it .. you love the characters and remember them ... forever..

I quite liked Hostage - with Bruce Willis - but would not watch it again..

Million Dollar Baby was okish, as was Assault on Precinct (something)

Constantine was quite good.

Monster in Law was crap, as was Mr and Mrs Smith

The worst film was Hide and Seek - the one with that spooky girl and Robert De Niro... usually the films he is in, are quite good.

Oh yeah, Kingdom of Heaven was very good! I have seen others - but can't remember them - I now want to see Brokeback mountain and Crash

Hostage is veeery heavy .. as are most of Willis' movies

Mr and mrs Smith was purely commercial .. I mean all movies are commercial but this was totally uninteresting .. it wasn't the ticket's price worth at all!

Million Dollar baby was ok but the ending was shocking

But the best of all of course is : COLLATERAL with the terrific Tom Cruise and the rising Jamie Foxx .. Collateral was a classy piece of thrill, action, panoramas and music.. and the ending was classy.. great stuff!

I loved Million Dollar Baby, but it was way more of a tear-jerker than I expected! How can you not love Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman (particularly when Morgan Freeman does narration work... Shawshank Redemption, anyone?)

Speaking of Mr. Freeman's narration, I loved March of the Penguins! I understand there was actual voice dialogue in the European (UK?) version, but Morgan Freeman did all the voice work in the US version in narration form.

Crash was unexpected-- started off slow and seemed to be many unrelated story-lines, which kind of iritated me, but as the movie progressed along, you realized that the stories were way more related than you initially thought.

Cinderella Man was excellent. Kingdom of Heaven, I enjoyed, but not enough to actually buy it! Hated Hide & Seek and War of the Worlds. Thought Collateral was OK, but not great.

Can't wait to get Walk the Line and Jarhead on DVD!

the best films that i saw in 2005 were Crash and Le Grand Voyage and Rize (oh my goodness i can't remember if that one was this year or last year! )
