Thumbs up Great book

I liked it. It's really entertaining. Couldn't put it down. But it's ridiculous to put too much emphasis on how true everything is. However, I do wonder what al Koran says about Jesus' private life (if it mentions it). Since he was mortal (which goes against the Christian belief of course) was he married? Any children?

everyone i know thats read it has loved but i have nooo interest in reading it whatsoever!!
Am i really the only one that gets on the bus or tube and sees 10 people reading the same book and gets put off by it?!,surely not
I saw the programme about it and found that boring too, so i guess its really not for me.
Anyone reading anything else (preferbly that the rest of London isn't reading)at the moment?..and is it any good?
I want some tips as I haven't read anything in english for ages!!!.

Smile da Vinci Code

When I was in Milan I went to see the Leonardo da Vinci painting and I got to say the person looked like a man not a woman. If you ask me the whole Da Vinci thing is a fictional creation.

I was the same, but after my dippy best mate recommended it to me (she, who has never picked up a book for pleasure) I thought I would it check it out. Started reading last night, haven't been able to put it down since. It's very intriguing, and especially considering a)I'm not a usual fan of this genre (thriller) and b)Not really interested in art or christianity, but this is a great read.

Another FANTASTIC book, which might appeal to you for the Frog factor, is "The Lost King of France" by Deborah Cadbury. It's factual, but a very easy read considering. About le Dauphin Louis Charles XVII, son of Louis Charles XVI and Marie Antoinette. It's about £8.99 so if it's not usually you're thing don't go and buy it specially, just borrow it off me and give it a go. You'll love it, honest.
