Decorating the Courtyard

The entrnce/exit doors to the basements under the overpass bridge, they are 3 feet wide dark brown stain arced doors. The doors have an 5 inch x 8 inch rectangle glass window in the upper part of the doors. When you open the doors into the basements there is a 4 feet x 4 feet platform at the top of the stairs. The left side stairs go down to the left. The right side door opens down to the right.
I changed the roof shingles. The roof shingles of the Main Palace and bedroom wings, the shingles are dark brown clay pot shingles. The shingles have dark green specks. The greenhouse roofs and the Fortress shingles are dark green clay pot shingles. The shingles have dark brown specks.
There are dark brown stain large window boxes centered around the outside walls of the Pool House. The window boxes are centered close to the outside walls. The window boxes are 6 feet long. They have in them bright colored flowers. There are dark brown plastic liner in the window boxes.
There is a Japanes Weeping Cherry tree by the 30 feet walls. The tree is planted in the courtyard a few feet out from the wall where it meets with the side moat wall. The branches of the trees will hang over the walls and the moat.
The courtyard is 135 feet from the outside wall of the 1st and 3rd sections to the 1st and 3rd sections on the other side of the courtyard.
Smoking areas are by the outside pool houses across from the center moat. There are paved patios around the outer pool houses. Also there is a smooking area outside the bridge. When you go out you would be on the moat bridge. When you cross the bridge there is a road that goes acroos. There is a wall across the road. On the other side of the cement wall there is a garden with a bench. This is smoking area. There are large metal ashtrays with sand in the bottom. The metal bottles are for putting your butts in.
The slate floors in the Greenhouses and the pool house, the slates are medium grey.
Next time the Pool House.

The Pool House/The Flower Pots

There are large porcelin flower pots by the right and left of the center entrance doors to the corridors of the Fortress. The flower pots are outside in front of the right and left windows to the right and left of the entrance/exit doors.
The flower pots outside the 1st and 3rd sections are large dark brown pots. The flower pots outside the 2nd center section are white porcelin pots. Also the flower pots outside the center front section of the fortress, They are also large white porcelin flower pots.
The flower pots have bright colored flowers in them.
The Pool House is like the Greenhouses but larger. The pool house does not have a fireplace. That wall has windows like the other walls of the building.
The roof is dark green clay pot shingles. The shingles have dark brown specks. There is a center skylight at the top of the pool house. The skylight is the same design as the green house skylights.
The inside of the Pool House is the same but larger. Except for the ceiling. The ceiling is planked like the greenhouses but there are 4 ceiling fans. The 1st section, the center side sections and the end section have 5 inch diameter recessed light fixture. The light fixture is antique brass. The fixture is centered above the slate area around the pool. The other 2nd and 4th sections have antique brass ornate ceiling fans. They have dark brown blades. There are 4 ceiling fans.
The switches are on the front wall to the right of the entrance door. The switches are in an aluminum electric box. The switches are off white and there is an antique brass plate cover. The first switch controls the lights and the second switch controls the fans.
There are dark brown vertical blinds on the windows for when the sun is strong. The blinds open and close all the way or they open vertically for less light.
Theentrance door is 2 1/2 feet wide double doors. They are the same design as the green houses. To the right of the door is the shiny stainless steel filter for the pool. The water spicket is on the wall past the filter. To the left of the entrance doors there are the trash cans. They are the same design as the trash cans under the overpass bridge.
At the far end there is a bench centered. The bench has bronze posts 6 inches from the right and left ends bench. There are brackets on the posts under the seat and up the back of the bench. The brackets are also bronze. The benches have dark brown wood boards. The boards are 1/2 inch apart.
To the left and right of the benches where the walls meet there is 4 feet diamter wood table about 1 foot from the outer wall. There is a wood curved bench on the right and left sides of the tables. The tables are Moroccan red/brown stain. The tables have a dark maroon vinyl table cloth. The table cloth has off whit fringe around the edge. There is a center hole in the tablecloth and the table so the umbrells pole fits through into a white plastic base with sand in them. The base is large and holds the pole of the umbrells in place.
The base is 8 inches high and 14 inches square.
The umbrellas are dark maroon vinyl umbrellas. There is a table to the left and right of the bench where the walls meet. Then there is another bench centered each side of the Pool House. Then there are another umbrells table each side where the next walls meet.
The next sections are the right and left side sections. Centered are the sandboxes. There is one each side. They are 5 feet long and 4 feet wide. They are Moroccan red/brown stain wood sand boxes. They have canopy top.
Along the first sections past the entrance doors there are 2 lounge chairs each side. they are Moroccan red/brown. the lounge chairs are wood. They have maroon/ Moroccan red/brown vinyl chair cushions. There is a 3 feet diamter coffee table between the lounge chairs. The coffee table is also wood and Moroccan red/ brown.
I decided not to have stairs at the front of the pool. I think that might be dangerous. The younger children can sit at the edge and stand up because the water at the front of the Pool House would be 1 foot deep. It gradually gets deeper as you go toward the back end.
There are 2 stainless steel ladders . One at the 10 o'clock position and one at the 2 o'clock position. They are toward the other end of the pool.
Along the second section wall to the right there are wood right angle hooks in the wall. There are 3 . This is where the pool hose and the pole for vacumning the pool are hung. The children may get sand in the pool but they are not suposed to. They can get pool water to use in the sand box. They may have a brown rubber basin to bury in the sand and put water in when they play.
the floor are medium grey slates. They are embedded in the cement.
The Pool House roof has an overhang outside. The Pool House has screens.

More About the Pool House

I decided to turn the Pool House so that the entrance door is lined up with the left side 2nd center doors.
Inside the Pool House the switches for the fans and recessed ceiling lights , the switches are to the left of the entrance doors. The switch to turn the filter on/off is to the right of the entrance doors. The doors open out. There is a antique brss hendle on the outside of the doors and inside there is a push bar on each door.
The vertical blinds are medium brown. The umbrellas and the table cloths are Moroccan red/brown. They are scalloped square around the edges. The is medium brown piping around the edges.
The lounge chair cushions are Moroccan red/brown and medium brown print design. The sides and under side of the cushions are medium brown. The cushions have Moroccan red/brown buttons each side and they are connected through the cushions. There are 4 rows of 2 buttons each cushion.
The umbrella table have three curved benches. They are wood, Moroccan red/brown.
The sandbox canopy is dark brown stain. The sandbox and frames are Moroccan red/brown. I decdied that the sand boxes shouls be centered by the first sections past the entrance wall. And the lounge chairs and coffee tables should be centered at the right and left side walls.
Thefloor slates in the Greenhouses and the Pool House, the slates are dark blue. This will look better with the pool tiles. The pool tiles are 4 inch x 4inch sky blue ceramic tiles. Around the top 2 rows the tiles are white with sky blue motif on the tiles. At the far end of the pool the top row of tiles in the center speel out NO DIVING>SHALLOW WATER. One letter each center tile.
The coping around the top edge of the pool are white thick tiles. They are curved over the edges and curve into the pool. They are about 10 inches wide. 3 inches into the pool and 6 inches along the top outside. The coping pieces are hard plastic. There is a sky blue coping tile between the fist side walls of the pool and the right and left side sections. The blue coping marks how far the younger children can go in the pool. They are not suppose to go past the blue coping tiles. The water is 2 feet deep at the blue coping tiles.
There are 2 lifeguards. They have folding beach chairs. They sit part the sandboxes. They wear a whistle in case there is any rough housing. They have a white tube life preserver hanging on the wall above the spicket.
There is a green hose on the floor by the water spicket. The hose reaches the pool and also can go outside. The children can be rinsed of sand. They also have sprinkler cans so they can water the flowers in the flower boxes. They keep the sprinkler cans in the cabinets under the overpass bridge. They do not water the flowers in the porcelin flower pots.
There are 2 medium brown coolers to keep drinks cool. The coolers have a white lid. They are by the wall in front of the sandboxes.
There are 3 bronze right angle hooks along the right side wall behind the lounge chairs and coffee table. The pool hose, the vacumn pole and the pole with the skimming net hang from the right angle hooks. These eqiipment are used to keep the pools clean. People who keep the pools clean also water the flowers in the porcelin flower pots.

The back doorbell to the Main Palace is on the right outside wall when you leave the Main Palace through the left alcove.
There are water spickets on the right and left outside wall of the wing bathrooms. The spickets are 1 1/2 feet in from the ends and 1 1/2 feet up from the ground.
Japanese Cherry Tree branches grow up and then as they get longer they droop downward. They would look nice hanging over the walls and the moat. They have small pink flowers early in the Spring. They are one of the first signs of Spring.

Few More Things About the Pool House/The Corridors

The only drink in the pool house is water. The water bottles are kept in the coolers. If someone wants to refill their water with the hise, they can. The hose is connected to house water.
The hose in the pool house is 50 feet long. This way it reaches around the pool house.
The right angle hooks are antique brass. They hold up the pool equipment.
The lounge chairs have wheels on the back part of the frame so they can be moved around. The frame positions upright and 2 reclining positions. There are 1 1/2 inch dowels that come out the sides of the frames and they set in groves for the different positions of the lounge chairs.
There is a round hole near the front of the pool. This is where the water is drawn into the filter. There is a white plastci rim around the hole. Further down the pool there is a rectangle slot where the filtered water goes back into the pool. This slot also has a white plastic rim around it. Above the slot there is a foot wide white plastic basket that can catch anything that falls in the pool like insects , frogs or mice. Since this is a pool house they probably will not be in the basket.
People and children from the Palace use the Mosque bathrooms. People who are guests have to use their bathrooms near their bedrooms.
I decided that the switches should all be to the right of the entrance door to the Pool House. The switch box has 2 switches that are sideways. They are on the right side of the box. On the left side of the box the switch is up/down. This up/down switch controls the pool filter. The top right switch controls the fans and the lower right switch controls the recessed ceiling lights.
(The red EXIT signs in the Palace do not have right and left lights. Just the EXIT sign boxes.

The outer corridors of the 1st and 3rd sections have grey stone walls on the lower parts of the outer walls and the inside walls of the corridors. The walls are 3 feet high. The upper parts of the walls are plastered and wallpaper. The wallpaper are Moroccanred/brown? The corridor ceilings are planked with dark brown stain planking. There are beams at the ends and beams where the 1st and 2nd bedrooms meet and the 2nd bedroom and the center bathroom meet. The floors of the corridors are medium grey slate that have been cemented in place. The corridors are level with the courtyard pavers. The entrance/exit doors have antique brass sills.
The leight switches for the outside motion lights and the corridor lights is located on the inside wall to the left of the entrance door. There are second switches at the far end of the corrifdor. Lights can be turned on/off either end. The first switches control the outside motion lights and the second switch controls the corridor ceiling lights.
