A young man called Peter invited his Mother over for dinner one Sunday and during the course of the meal she couldn't help but notice what a handsome guy Peter's flatmate was.
She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the Two of them and this made her even more curious.

Over the course of the evening, she watched the Two of them interact and began to wonder if in fact there wasn't more between Peter and his flatmate than met the eye.

Reading his Mother's thoughts, Peter volunteered, "I know what you're thinking Mother and I can assure you that Simon and myself are just flatmates and nothing else"

About a week later, Simon said to Peter, "Ever since last Sunday when your Mother came to dinner, I have been unable to find the frying pan, You don't suppose she could have taken it, do you Peter?" I very much doubt it but I'll send her an E.mail and ask her just to be sure" said Peter.

So he sat down and wrote, "Dear Mother, I'm not saying you DID take the frying pan from our flat and I'm not saying you DID NOT take it but the fact remains it has been missing ever since you came here last Sunday for dinner", Love Peter.

A few days later, peter received an E.mail from his Mother which read, "Dear Son, I'm not saying you DO sleep with Simon, and I'm not saying you DO NOT sleep with Simon but the fact remains that if he slept in his OWN bed, he would have found the frying pan by now" Love Mum.

There's a lesson to be learnt here for you younger ones,
"Never lie to your Mother, she's been around longer than you and will always find you out"
