Help. I need to have something translated. 2 years ago a man from Morocco started talking to my (then girlfriend). He saw a picture of her and “fell in love”. He became very attached to her, in a very sick way. He claims to love her, she became pregnant and we decided to marry. He stopped contact for a brief period of time.

Her pregnancy wasn’t an easy one and we almost lost the baby a few times, the slightest bit of stress would cause her to go into labor. This man threatened to kill anyone that came near her, this scared her so much that she was hospitalized for 2 mos, we needed to keep her calm and away from stress. We have tried everything from having him arrested to having his name on file at the embassy to stop him for coming to the states. Of course this man has no idea who she really was or where she was from.

She has begged pleaded for him to stop contact. He has even pretended to be his sister to talk to her, he tried to tell her how much he loves her, my wife even went as far as to send him pornographic links. Nothing has worked. We blocked him many times and have changed the ID but he finds a way to find her.


After we had the baby, he started contact again, he threatened to come here and take her away. She became very scared and afraid to sleep. I came home from work one night to find my wife bleeding on the floor of our bedroom. She was so afraid for the safety of her family that she killed herself.

I have had my lawyer contact this man, we have reason to believe that his English and mental abilities are not up to par. I have a friend at the police department that has decided to help out. He has been on her ID, the man continues to contact her, we have sent him the obituary and her tombstone.

I ask everyone for this. Please help me translate a message to this man in Arabic, since nothing else works and I am already in enough pain from losing my wife. My daughter doesn’t have a mother because of the fear this man had put into her. He is pathological, psychotic and a sociopath.

I am so sorry that this is so long but I do not know what do anymore. Please help

BTW I read it again and I have some serious questionmarks.

If your story is true and if you have connections with the police, why can't you give them the headers of the email, to see where they are from then?

And why don't you have the lawyer translate the text by an official translator. As you may know Arabic script is not the same as the latin alphabet, so how on earth would you ask help from a bunch of strangers on the internet?
Do you actually know is true identity then?

Look as for coming to seek you in the US, Moroccans don't get visas easily.

We have tried. This man still does not cease contact. The police have done all they can. They dropped the case. My lawyer has done translations, he refuses to stop. We have tried all we can.

PS you may want to consider posting the same message on Wafin: Moroccan Connections in America. There's a bit more traffic on those forums and there are quite a lot of serious American Moroccans there that may have alternative advices. In the meanwhile my offer still stands. I only need a name, adress and phonenumber to make that weld haram stop ruling your life.
