Sounds a gr8 idea if some help can be given online to learn dareeja. I do understand quite a bit of it,but when its written here in englaih alphabets with letters and numbers it kinda gets difficult.

3 = like the Aa in Arab
7 = like the Ha in Harira 5 = the Gha in Gharib - but sometimes is it Kh like in khadib 2 = the T in Tariq not sure about number 9 - I think it is like the sound of S, but not sure The above is what I have been told and how I understand those numbers... others might alternative usage of them. |
