Thanks for the input. I went through all of the threads here a cut/pasted into a little 'crib-sheet'. It helps a bit. She was v.impressed with my 'Mra zweena'. And the Habibi. I managed to get a copy of the 'Lonely planet' phrasebook. My it's a complicated language. Thalla frassek.

Yeah , I've done the same, cut and pasted from here. Though pharess has been slow with the lessons lately (where r u pharess btw).

Good Luck apprentice. I am sure if you put ur mind to it, you can learn alot despite the langauge being complicated. Also , a few french words are used in the Moroccan darija so that should make it easier for you.

I think your Forum is fantastic, but would it be possible for us "dummies" for you to put the pronunciation after the words?

YOU should first know whats the meaning of your name
in Arabic? I fear it has no meaning
