Aoodhu Billahi min ash al-shaytaan ir-rajeem
Bismillah ir-rahmaan ir-raheem “And (both) the Jews and the Christians say: ‘We are the children of Allaah and His loved ones.’ Say: ‘Why then does He punish you for your sins?’ Nay, you are but human beings of those He has created…” [al-Maa’idah 5:18] “Surely, disbelievers are those who said: ‘Allaah is the third of the three (in a Trinity).” But there is no Ilaah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilaah (God —Allaah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them”[al-Maa’idah 5:73] Al-hamdu lillah ir-rahmaan ir-raheem Allahumma salli ala Nabi Muhammad wa ala al Nabi Muhammad As-salaamu laykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu Dear Morocco.com; Even today after thousands and thousands of years, the false belief that there are many gods or no god exists in this world. Interestingly views that there are many or no gods ultimately have the same basis, the denial of Allah(Soubhanna wa taa’la). Allah willing(insha’allah), the following will serve as a current aid to those who face the friends of the accursed one(Shaytaan) in conversation, debate and elsewhere. The basic error of all polytheists and atheists is the failure to separate the creator from its creation. For example, one of the beliefs of polytheism-hinduism is that creation never has a beginning nor end but exists at all time. This is a denial of the creator without the statement. The belief of atheism is that there is no creator by statement. So we can see now that their beliefs are the same. Some say that we, the polytheists, believe in the creation of everything by a creator god but simply believe in also other gods or smaller gods. The response is if there is a big god then what is the reason for worshiping other than the big god. Worshiping any smaller gods is like stopping hunger by eating the crumbs of the bread and not the bread. Worship in this manner is not complete and sensible because if one worship the smaller maybe the bigger god will prevent the smaller god. Worship the bigger god who can act even if the smaller god says no since the opposite must not be true otherwise the big god will not be the bigger god. This is what those who believe in bigger gods and smaller gods must accept to maintain their nonsensical beliefs because to choose both the bigger and smaller god one must accept that the bigger god, as incomplete, that is, does not have lordship over everything. Therefore truly not the bigger, the big god has no control or at least some limitations. Again to make clear, if the one god is bigger with complete lordship over the other then why worship the smaller, the bigger god is the only true god. If the smaller god does have some form of lordship but let us say not as much as the bigger god then we are back to our original assertion, the failure to separate the creator from its creation, that is, who is the creator of the gods. If the bigger god then he is responsible for the smaller so why worship the smaller and if the smaller then how can there be a bigger. The argument takes on many forms with the same result, polytheism/atheism. Quickly, arguments that the creator makes creation which becomes the creator which then makes a creation, a kind of reincarnation and rebirth. In these cases one must admit either that at some point the creator fails to exist or there exists more than one creator, bigger, smaller or equal which is atheism and polytheism. The polytheism/atheism of the Christian/Jew is the belief that Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) is a human being. When you ask how can a god be a human or how can the god pray to himself. They answer, the god can do anything or this is one of the holy mysteries that we cannot understand because we are not the god. Their illness is that these people who have these beliefs do not comprehend the logic of the concept of the separation of the creator from its creation. By logic, the meaning is that there are certain things that we accept as true to aid our understanding of the concept. For example, a baker makes bread we do not think or say that the baker is the bread, that is, the bread is the baker. Common sense tells us that the creation is not the creator. The concept logically and rationally allows only our understanding that there is a baker separate from the bread. Otherwise, irrationally, if we expect the baker to be equal in all respects to the bread, we will have to conceptually demand of the bread as we demand of the baker in reality and require like responses. Anything other than this is fantasy and false. This is exactly the case and why some reply that issue involves holy mystery because their claiming of a holy mystery is the fantasy. We do not say to the bread, as we to do to the baker, pay zakat, perform pray or walk home after work nor to do we truly expect the bread to walk to the baker’s home and greet its family. We do not expect the bread to say, “As-salaamu laykum”. Of course the situation is absurd. The baker has an existence of his own. The bread has an existence of its own. This is what I mean by failure to understand the rational understanding of the separation of a creator from its creation. The concept demands that they are separate things and not the same nor equal. In the case of the Christian, Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) cannot be Jesus[Iesa(alayhi wa salaam)], this is to say that Iesa(alayhi salaam) is responsible for creation of all the worlds and the beginning of this earth and its inhabitants, for example, before Adam and Eve, peace be upon them, who by even by the Bible came into existence before Jesus[(Iesa, alayhi wa salaam)] thereby admitting disbelieving in your book. How can Iesa(alayhi wa salaam) create before his own creation. The consequence of not establishing the separation of the creator from its creation is that one begins to make statements like Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) is a human. Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) made us all so we are the children of Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la). Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) is in the trees, rocks, and fire. Also the rabbis, priests, monks, imams and sheikhs are Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) on earth. People even claim to be Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la) themselves. This is the reason you have Hindus, Buddhists, Zen worshipers, Tibetans, aboriginal peoples, so and so, such and such, worshiping stones, trees, animal statues of half human/half animals and other inanimate objects such as rain and sun. ALL OF THIS IS DUE TO THE FAILURE TO SEPARATE THE CREATOR, ALLAH(SOUBHANNA WA TAA’LA) FROM HIS CREATION. All of these people have lost the relationship of being and causality. All confuse the signs of Allah(Soubhanna wa taa’la) for Allah(soubhanna wa taa’la). Being means what things are in a rational everyday world. For example, we do not refer commonly refer to a car on the street as a star in normal everyday thinking. Causality means cause and effect in time. For example, when we place the tea pot on the fire it heats after some time and makes refreshing tea after some time due to the fire. We do not normally perceive fire making things colder. Insane people in hospitals often have these problems. They will tell you that bugs are crawling on their skin when there are not or that they are someone from the past, that is, claiming to Prophet Muhammad(salli allahu alayhi wa sellaam) or someone from the future or from another planet. They have lost in an extreme manner the relationship of Cause(Creator) and Effect(Creation) and its separation. Soubhanna Allah wa bihamdihi, Sheikh Iesa Ibn Muhammad |
