Bit tasteless, but even then I very much doubt if the local Evangelical heavies will declare a death warrant on the photographer in revenge for his "heresy"

I think such images if they are as it seems, are very questionable.

But if I think about it, there are loads of parts in the Bible that are passionate, erotic and romantic - even some of the poems devoted to loving God - could be considered to be very passionate love letters.. Now I think of this, it is like the relationship between the people of Israel and God - that God chooses the Jews as the chosen ones, He gives them promises of a secure future, blessings of a kingdom of Milk and Honey, but, they continuously reject, betray and anger Him.. it is like an unrequited love situation, in some retrospect. The devotion that has to be given to God, that He expects from His creation. Isn't that romantic and a passion, in itself?

usually , a calendar depicts the days of a week and the months of the year .
just as a clock shows noon and midnight .
i know , a calendar and a clock makes you unhappy yet that is the way it is
speak for yourself and let mithra speak for the time

and like dr. g.e.hale said "no time has been lost".

What point are you trying to make, T? You surely don't think the evangelicals should have tried to kill the people who made the calendar?

Like it or not, there are no effective blasphemy laws that carry the death penalty in Germany (or England for that matter). Deal with it - the reason that you're free to say what you believe, is because the so-called "blasphemers" are free to say what they believe.
