I'm waiting for you to tell me. (btw, I couldn't hear the audio in the site in the other thread -- my real player won't access it).

Friday.

Jesus was crucified around 9 am, hung on the cross for six hours, and died at around 3 pm.

The Jews were so meticulous in their religious obeservations that by sunset Friday they enter into Sabbath (Saturday). To them it is a curse to be hung on a tree. They don't want any one hung and still be alive by Friday sunset, so upon their request, the Roman soldiers came to kill off the two thieves and Jesus early -- someone hung on the cross can live upto 3 days.

According to the request, the soldiers broke the legs of the two thieves, and losing the foot support they died early. When the soldiers came to Jesus, they found Him already dead and did not see the need to break His legs -- which turned out in fulfilment of prophecy (Psalm 34:20; John 19:31-37).

Thank you
I read about some Evengelist(important figure) who tried to say that Jesus died on Wednesday to justify the Jonah 3 days and 3 nights prophecy. But I think it offended the Catholics.
Anyway I only wanted to know the passage

peace
