Let me clarify few things from an Islamic point of view and hopefully you can understand.
I am not asking you to believe but just understand what God says to Us Muslims
Because Islam gives people total freedom to follow Islam some people go to the extreem and becomes Scholars without true studies and no one can denouce them because we have no right to do so and we usually leave them to God. It does not mean that that's how Islam is and that's where the majority of the Jews and non Muslims make a grave error and fuel the debate by attacking the rest of the innocents.
let me give you facts:
"Dispute not with the People of the Book save in the fairer manner, except for those of them that do wrong; and say, 'We believe in what has been sent down to us, and what has been sent down to you: Our God and your God is One, and to Him we have surrendered'." (XXIX: The Spider: 45)
Who does wrong? this is where the problem is if you take an extreemist like bin Laden he would argue everyone who is a non muslim is wrong because they fail to worship God
But let's look at the actual Muslims themselves and see How God look at them?.

002.008 Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.
002.009 Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!
002.010 In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).
002.011 When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"
002.012 Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.

You see these type of people are the wrong doers and claim to be good.
So how can we judge them? educaton is what is needed.
The bottom line is In Islam
Anyone is the same except with good or bad deeds And anyone who meets God as a criminal will live In Hell

Also like to add what God says about the christians

003.050 "'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.
003.051(Jesus said) "'It is Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.'"
003.055 Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.
003.056 "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

And said to the Jews

002.040 O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me.

002.041 And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price; and fear Me, and Me alone.

002.042 And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is).

002.043 And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship).
002.044 Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand?
002.045 Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit,-
002.046 Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him.
