Salam all,

Abu Hafasah (raa) said the Prophet (saas) said: "Fasting on the day of 'Arafah absolves the sins for two years: the previous year and the coming years, and fasting on 'Ashura, (the tenth day) of Muharram atones for the sins of previous years." (Reported by Jama'ah except Bukhari and Tirmidhi)

In another hadith, the Prophet's wife Hafsah (raa) said: "Four things the Messenger of Allah never neglected: Observing fast on the day of 'Ashura, (on the tenth of Muharram), three days every month, and offering Fajr sunnah prayers early in the morning." (Muslim)

Who is going to observe the fast? I hope to insha Allah. I wish I could get the day off of work to watch Arafah on Iqraa, it is so moving and very emotional just watching, let alone being there. Subhana Allah!

Eid Mubarak everyone!!! Wa Salam

Salam sis, I hope you're well and the family is fine insha Allah!

Initially Eid was Friday, but now it's on Thursday insha Allah, meaning that Arafah is on Wednesday.

It's all very confusing lol...

What is is now available to check online? I like to be old fashioned, play it on the safe side and find out what the time comes.
