Exclamation

through out history, each religion viewed other religions as mal practice. Each religion publicly expressed their disagreement with other religions. Religious people acted that way because they really believed that their way is the only way to God and Heaven. Nothing has changed today. People still feel the same way deep inside. however, because the world we live in now days. Everyone wants to be politically correct. Everyone claims to respect other believes. But in reality, nothing has changed. deep inside no one really respects other religions, and how could they. If you believe in your religion, and you truly believe is the right way, how can you respect other believes. For example, how can a Muslim respect a Christian, where in Islam, he/she must believe that's Mohammed is the only way to God. Anything less than that is unacceptable.
This is just one example. Christians believe Jesus it the only saver.. etc etec..
who's behind this? Politicians? I say yes what do you think my friends?

The key here is the need for greater tolerance.. as for politicians they will ride on the religious bandwagon and exploit such... we all know politics is about lip service.

A good point, Simple. I would have thought the same if I didn't believe there is a God.

And 'if' there is a God, He must have ONLY ONE standard of truth, to avoid all confusions and bogus claims. THIS IS WHERE THE DISAGREEMENTS ARISE.

Simple, I have to preface myself, otherwise I will be misunderstood by others saying that 'I hate Muslims', I disrespect their views, etc, etc.

Not at all. I just disagree with their positions.

When it comes to politics or history, or recent issues, I sure do have my opinions and I express them. But when it comes to Scripture, God, and Salvation, I DO MY BEST TO SHARE ONLY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS.

So the answer to your simple question will not be my opinion, but from Scripture. Please pick up a modern version of the Bible (NIV, The Living Bible, etc) and turn to Galatians 1:3-11.
