1)I don't know who are these Qur'anites you are talking about.

2) Who told Prophet Eissa is coming? Please tell me how did you come to beleive in this. Was it Koran, Hadith, or was it one of those bearded Know-it all clerics in mosques, or did you just heard it somehow when ladies talk?

3) I will not bite you head off.

From Sahih Muslim

Chapter 9: PERTAINING TO THE CONQUEST OF CONSTANTINOPLE AND THE APPEARANCE OF THE DAJJAL AND DESCENT OF JESUS SON OF MARY (JESUS CHRIST)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Book 041, Number 6924:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The Last Hour would not come until the Romans would land at al-A'maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of the best (soldiers) of the people of the earth at that time will come from Medina (to counteract them). When they will arrange themselves in ranks, the Romans would say: Do not stand between us and those (Muslims) who took prisoners from amongst us. Let us fight with them; and the Muslims would say: Nay, by Allah, we would never get aside from you and from our brethren that you may fight them. They will then fight and a third (part) of the army would run away, whom Allah will never forgive. A third (part of the army). which would be constituted of excellent martyrs in Allah's eye, would be killed ani the third who would never be put to trial would win and they would be conquerors of Constantinople. And as they would be busy in distributing the spoils of war (amongst themselves) after hanging their swords by the olive trees, the Satan would cry: The Dajjal has taken your place among your family. They would then come out, but it would be of no avail. And when they would come to Syria, he would come out while they would be still preparing themselves for battle drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer shall come and then Jesus (peace be upon him) son of Mary would descend and would lead them in prayer. When the enemy of Allah would see him, it would (disappear) just as the salt dissolves itself in water and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely, but Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ).

I think a Qur'ani Muslim, only relies on the Qur'an and not the Hadiths, I heard there is a sect of people who only pray 3 times day, because that is all which is stated in the Qur'an... but I don't know how they pray, cos that is not stated in the Qur'an either

I will tell you the explaination of a group of scholars regarding the subject and Ask God to forgive me if i Made a mistake

Allah made Jesus(pbuh) a sign of the hour and bless him wherever he is. and blessed anyone who met or will meet him .
------------------------------------------------
He ('Isa) is a Sign of the Hour. Have no doubt about it. But follow me. This is a straight path. (Surat az-Zukhruf: 61)

-----------------------------------------
He was made a sign for all the worlds. (Surat al-Anbiya': 91)
There is not one of the People of the Book who will not believe in him ('Isa) before he dies; and on the Day of Rising he will be a witness against them. (Surat an-Nisa': 159)
----------------------------------
Look here the word "dies" is quite important because no man excape death on earth except 2 Prophets Idris(Pbuh)and Jesus(pbuh)
Idris died in heaven n:4 while he was on the Angel's wing and Jesus was raised close to Allah and will have to die the same way as everyone else because Allah said There is no single soul that will escape death.
In the Aya of al Imran Allah said in Arabic Ya Issa(O Jesus) sa outawafeeka wa arfaouka( I will put you to sleep and raise you close to me and clean you from these Unbelievers ...........
Put you to sleep has two meanings:
Allah takes the soul of men in two stages
1- when a person is asleep the soul is taken temporary for a limited time hour hours or a longer period when a man is in a coma etc...
2- when a person is dead the soul is taken the same way but in a different manner till judgement day. the manner is taken depends on how the person died ie was he a martyr a believer a non believer etc.... because where the soul goes is quite important the martyr soul wonders freely in heaven while the soul of the non believer is trapped in the Grave.
See my other thread about Soul for further explaination
So when Allah said To Jesus(pbuh) I am taken you up, it means Jesus' soul and that's why we say that Jesus is alive so do the christians the only problem is that the christian believe that he can visit them whenever they call him and we don't because we believe that the soul never comes back to earth however If Jesus happens to be present with us on here be assure that We will be blessed because God blessed him wherever he is while alive
And Allah Knows best
