Assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatu Allah

I was just wondering, being a practicing Muslima that tries to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet SWS, how anyone else who is a Sunni Muslim feels about the other denominations of Islam. We're talking about Shiaism, Sufism, Qur'anism/Ahmaddism etc...

If, in the way we feel we practice our religion is indeed correct (hence why we follow in this way) then would we promote a part of Islam that we feel is heretical? Would you accept a Sufi as your friend for example, would you let them talk about Allah SWT to your children? Would you attend any of their gatherings?

If your answer is in the negative, then would you feel more comfortable in a setting of Sunnis, but not too pious and not too practicing?

Just anyones thoughts. It's intreging as I have come accross a couple lately that let their children "experience all types of Islam", but do not want their children to come within 10 steps of a Niqabi sister.

Wa Salam

Have you talked to President Bush about Gabriel? No? Ok then.
