Salam Brothers and Sisters

I wish to dedicate this threads for haddiths and the teachings of our beloved Prophet Mohammed( SAWS)
here is one I picked out of the blue
[Human thoughts on meeting Allah and Fear of Death]

If My servant likes to meet Me, I like to meet him; and if he dislikes to meet Me, I dislike to meet him. Prophetic explanation of this Sacred Hadith: He who likes to meet Allah, Allah likes to meet him; and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Prophet of Allah, is it because of the dislike of death, for all of us dislike death? The Prophet (pbuh) said: It is not so, but rather it is that when the believer is given news of Allah's mercy, His approval and His Paradise, he likes to meet Allah and Allah likes to meet him; but when the unbeliever is given news of Allah's punishment and His displeasure, he dislikes to meet Allah and Allah dislikes to meet him.

It was related by al-Bukhari and Malik. The Prophetic version is related by Muslim.

Hadith on Orphans

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: 'I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this, (putting his index and middle fingers together)."

Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: 'If anyone strokes (in affection) an orphan's head, doing so only for Allah's sake, he will have blessings for every hair over which his hand passes; and if anyone treats well an orphan girl or boy under his care, he and I shall be like these two in Paradise (putting two of his fingers together).'

Application of the prescripts of the deen

'The believer who recites the Qur'an and applies it, is like the utrujja (fruit) whose smell is fragrant and taste is sweet' (Bukhari)

Helping those in need

“Allah will say on the Day of Judgment, ‘O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me.’ He will say, ‘O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?’ Allah will say, ‘O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not.’ He shall say, ‘O my Lord, how could I feed you and you are the Lord of the Worlds?’ And Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was in need of food and you did not feed him? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found that to have been for Me?’ ‘O son of Adam, I asked you for water and you did not give Me to drink.’ The man shall say, ‘O my Lord, how could I give You water, when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’ Allah will say, ‘My servant so-and-so asked you for water and you did not give him to drink water. Did you not know that if you had given him to drink, you would have found that to have been for Me.’

Good Deeds

The Prophet said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise [only the mercy of Allah will do that], and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even though it were little."

(Bukhari)

Those who Commit Sin Openly

[Sahih Bukhari : Volume 8, Book 73, Number 95]

"Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): I heard Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) saying. "All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those of the Mujahirin (those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to the people). An example of such disclosure is that a person commits a sin at night and though Allah screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning, and says, 'O so-and-so, I did such-and-such (evil) deed yesterday,' though he spent his night screened by his Lord (none knowing about his sin) and in the morning he removes Allah's screen from himself."

PS: Sis LDNGirl, would you mind using a smaller signature for this thread. Your large signature [though cute] is quite distracting for a hadith thread.
