What type of Islam?

What Type of Islam would you like to see in Morocco?

Lets just say a tad more stricter... In every way possible!!

Asalaamu alaikum brothers and Sister~ Rachida ~
Once, a sister bluntly told this to me.
"There is only one type of Muslim. If you follow the Qur'an and al-Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammed, saw, then you are belong to Islam. BUT if you do otherwise and you introduce things into the religion (i.e. bida: deviations, innovations) then you are NOT. Simply, there are no sects in Islam."

If we recognize that there are different types of Muslims then that must mean there are different types of Islam. This, we know, is not true. There is only one god, Allah, and one religion accepted by Allah and created by Allah, Islam.

Therefore, there can only be one type of Muslim.
That is a very basic way to look at it but as always, ALLAHU ALIM, Allah knows best. There are people who call themselves Muslims and appear to be pious, but in actuallity, they are not.

Allah is always just in His judgements of man. We are only responsible for our actions and not the actions of others who claim one thing and believe and act another way.

Understand that I never intend to offend anyone here.

Salam brothers and sisters

The tpye of Islam that I would like to see in Morocco, is as Khalid said, a more stricter one. One that is based on the Qur'an and Sunnah only, and NO bid3a. No sayids, no cultural influences, and basically a new culture based on strength of belief and not Nass (people) based. As the Islam that we have now in Morocco is based on how well we can please the people around us, rather than Al-Khaliq Most High. More people being proud of their deen, practicing by the prescripts instead of being ashamed of it, and thinking that Western culture is the way to go.
