Mojahidine

I agree with you Simple, who are we to judge who goes to heaven or not? it is up to God almighty, we defintely can not in no way what so ever speak on the almightys behalf.

However in the sayings(Hadith) of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, he guides and tells us what is classifed as an martyr. Also in his sayings he warns us not to say "this person is going to hell or this person is going to heaven" as we do not know. (I cant remember the exact Hadiths, but defintely remember reading them, ill try finding them)

Simple just out of curiosity what made you make that statement?

Never_Plead_Ignorance, lately I am hearing more thatn ever everytime an Arabic/Muslim dies in Iraq, Palestine or other places around the world, people refer to him/her as Mojahid. I personally don't believe that suicide bombers are mojahidine. Mojahidine as I understand it don't kill themselves nor kill inoncent people.

Your right, a true Mojahid dont and should not kill innocent people. Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, told us that during war not to hurt the elderly, the woman, and the children. During war we should only kill people we are at war with(EG, Military).

We are judged on our intentions so maybe those who carry out the killings do not intend to kill innocent people but those innocent lives taken happen to get in the way? Allah knows best.

Hamas themselves claim to only kill those in the military and spys etc. With the Palestine issue its a heavy debate amongst Muslims some are against it some are for it.

In my opinon suicide bombings is a contradiction, sucicide is strictly forbidden in Islam. I personally dont see how killing yourself is going to get you to heaven especially if you kill innocent people.
