i know in Islam u have 2pay 2.5% (i fink its 2.5%) of ur money 4 sadaka, but my mother usually pays on my behalf, so my question 2 y'all is........

Does the money my mum send to Morocco on behalf of me and siblings cover us?

(oh btw every Friday i give this homeless man £1.00, i know it aint much but its something, i lie! )

If you had asked your mother to give out your zakat money on your behalf, then you made her your agent in paying your zakat. Then, as long as your mother gives it to a zakat-eligible person (and you had not explicitly specified how to give it out), your zakat payment is valid.

The money you give to the homeless manis sadakah.

yes sister mouniya it is about sadaka !
but as you were talking giving away a part of your wealth as sister houda explained to you will be zakat!! not sadaka!!
as for sadaka helps avoiding bad happenings in this life and the hearafter..and nobody is better than you mouniya..when you keep your mind safe and clean for your lord ALLAH !

Monya, Zakat is an obligation ordained by Allah upon every Muslim who becomes the owner of a specific amount of wealth. I assume you’re a student as you’re mother pays zakat on you’re behalf.

BTW what’s with the cap locks ?
