Aicha, Simple is not causing a scandal. People can ask questions about religion as much as they want , provided they are asking genuinely and not for the sake of poking fun, as that is just futile. You wanna poke fun, fine - but don't do under the guise of " I have a question please".

I've noticed that you have taken quite a superior stance lately in that u perceive ur free thinking to be better than anything a religion has to offer. Fair enough, that is ur right. However perhaps it serves you well to believe that all Muslims cannot handle criticism and open minded thinking. Perhaps - and I say this in all sincerity and not to be catty - perhaps its easier for you to see Muslims as a dumb flock of sheep than intelligent human beings as that reinforces your decision that leaving Islam was the right thing to do.

But no Aicha, we don't all go defensive when we are challenged, some of us enjoy debate - as long as it is bona fide!
