Salam Salamabdu. I genuinely hope to be forgiven by God, we know as long as your intention is good, that means that God will forgive you unless you will never do it again. I just didn't like the way you said things about Quran, because there is nothing mentioned in Quran like that at all.

Well, i hope you are utterly regretful which shows your good intention to change. Hope you'll be brave enough and apologise from your wife and daughter, because they actually deserve the apology from you. And i think you can do it after what i have seen regarding your apology over here. Please, Go for it, and that doesn't mean you're weak man, on the contrary, that would show how great man inside you are , and i believe your wife and daughter will forgive you, hopefully things get better, Why Not!

I have thought on this and now wonder if he is just saying this for effect cos maybe he likes to shock people. Maybe when he answers to God for his sins he will realise the error of his ways...but too late then I think.

Salamabdu I think it is good that you recognise the fact that your behaviour towards your family was wrong. I am not a muslim but I believe that God does forgive those who repent. It is your actions in the future that will show if you have the strength of character to repent and change your ways. I think you can do this and I hope you will have the love and support of your wife and daughter, for reason that they love you and see that in your heart you are willing to make amends to them. In my country hitting your wife is against the law and a husband can go to prison if the wife wish to complaine at the police station. WHY? The answer is easy:
1. We are human beings
2. Womens skin and muscle are a lot softer than those of a man.
3. We have to carry babies in our uterus the space where a baby grows) and certain physical injuries will cause the baby to abort naturally

The proper men of my culture says : Where do you hit a women? Because there is no place where you can lay a fist
After 2 years of an abusive marriage and 2 pregnancies later. I turn on my husband after he kicked me one night several times in the face, head and back, this night the kicking went on for over an hour. I turned around and hit him in his face with my head. i slapped and scratched him over and over in his face. I received this abuse for no reason, he came home 24H00 that night. And I was waiting for him just so we could spend some time together.

I just want to ask men like my husband. Do you really want to change your wife into an animal ?
Or do you want to loose her to suicde?
Think about it next time when you want to lift up your hand to her.
My husband asked me 2 months ago that he just wants his wife back the way she was.
I tried but the nice me seamed to be lost forever. . . the sad part is that this is the work of his own hands
