Salam sister Sou3ad,

I don't know about travel companies, but people who I know have been with Parsons Green Masjid (Al-Muntada Al-Islamia) And they said it was really good. Very well organised and you are taken care of.

Recomendation is the best thing, especially if you have not been before.

Wa Salam

Asslam Alaikoum All,

As LDNgirl mentioned Al Muntada Al Islami

There email address is : hajj@muntadamail.net
Their website is : http://www.almuntada.org.uk
Their address is :
7 Bridges Place
Pasrsons Green
London
SW6 4HW

But the best thing is to phone them on 0207 471 8280

They are extremely well organised throughout the Hajj trip, expensive but excellent locations of Hotels, transfers, food etc. The co-ordinator are 2 well experienced Algerian brothers who are very helpful with any questions, assistance you may have whether in terms of dietary meals, disability etc.

We were very well looked after, al-humduillah.

Just FYI they follow the wahabi school of thought.

Wa Salam

Asalamu alaikum

FYI: Al-muntada organisers are salafi and not 'wahabi'. They never call themselves wahabi, rather others who wish to belittle salafis label them as wahabi.

They are called salafis as they follow and adhere to the way of the salaf and the prophet muhammad (saw).

Wasalam

Asalaamu alaikom Samira,

JazakAllah khair for pointing that out. It's a very common mistake unfortunately, as you rightly said particularly for those who belittle the methodology of da'watul salafia.

Souad hbiba - it's better to go with a 'genuine' organisor; the brothers at al Muntada sound very good inchallah. I know people who went this year with a tour operator based in Queensway, and it was shocking cos this man only cared about getting money! He took the mick; charged exhorbitant amounts claiming they'd get x, y & z in their package - and in the end they got nothing! All those who went with him are filing complaints and looking for compensation...but of course he's become mysteriously unwell with heart problems so he's never around, lol. It's better that way, because I heard some brothers wanted to go and deal with things properly if you know what I mean !!!
