This is an example of people who fear Islam's rising status-with the high amount of converts (especially in the U.S) and try to make others fear Islam and Muslims by misinterpreting the Qur'an and Hadith...or putting up FAKE information all together. These people are everywhere...chat rooms, forums, and even creating websites about Islam and Qur'an--but these sites are FAKE. May Allah protect us, and those trying to learn about this way of life.....Saalam

“Say, ‘Now the truth has come from your Lord: Let those who wish to believe in it do so, and let those who wish to reject it do so’” (Al-Kahf: 29).

I could care less about the likes of you who left the faith, for Allah replaces each person who leaves Islam by hundreds of people far better than you who enter the faith.

Now that being said,

I oepened the link to watch the video .Before they started it, they showed a Hadith about how the Prophet ordered the stoning of a Jew. (20 seconds into the video to be exact) Yet these munafiqins failed to show the most important part of the Hadith.

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 829:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

The Jews came to Allah's Apostle and told him that a man and a woman from amongst them had committed illegal sexual intercourse. Allah's Apostle said to them, "What do you find in the Torah (old Testament) about the legal punishment of Ar-Rajm (stoning)?" They replied, (But) we announce their crime and lash them." Abdullah bin Salam said, "You are telling a lie; Torah contains the order of Rajm." They brought and opened the Torah and one of them solaced his hand on the Verse of Rajm and read the verses preceding and following it. Abdullah bin Salam said to him, "Lift your hand." When he lifted his hand, the Verse of Rajm was written there. They said, "Muhammad has told the truth; the Torah has the Verse of Rajm. The Prophet then gave the order that both of them should be stoned to death. ('Abdullah bin 'Umar said, "I saw the man leaning over the woman to shelter her from the stones."

Now let's see if the content of the above Hadith is true...

Deuteronomy

22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

So orientalchica, turns out that the Bible permits stoning to death.

Islam & Freedom of Belief

Q: Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Non-Muslims often comment about Islam saying that most Muslims are Muslims because of the death penalty for apostasy. Many claim that there is inherent hypocrisy as converts from other religions are eagerly awaited for, while if a Muslim decides not to follow Islam he is put to death. Please clarify.

As an aside,
The punishment of "arrajm" in Torah is not as superficially, and I would say inhumanely administered as stated above. The problem or misconception arises from the fact that people disregard the oral law in Judaism and make quick assumptions based on a first reading of Biblical text. If this story actualy did happen, then my heart is filled with sorrow and pity for those jews that were subjected to such a cruel treatment. Needless to say that for "arrajm" to apply in a legal Jewish way, only an authorized Jewish court within the boundaries of the land of Israel would have the legal right to administer it.

For some insight into the spirit and application of Torah law, particularly with regards to "arrajm", as applied by Torah Judaism, I refer you to the following legal brief from a reputed Jewish site:

http://www.jlaw.com/Briefs/capital2.html

The guiding principle is "love your fellow as yourself" and the preservation of human dignity, even in the case of a criminal.

Funny you said that
This Question was put to two Rabbis and one totally agreed that it was the best punishment while the other one said it would have been different he was less leanient but both agreed that if the conditions were as described and the Jews know the law better then the punishment was correct
For orthodox Jews, Mosaic law of "a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot", codified in the 617 precepts of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, according to which death penalty is a lawful punishment
