I am so glad I went darker. I am still medium brown though so maybe in a few months I will go much darker (black coffee like yours). The only problem will be maintaining a tan to match the hair then

Brilliant Bru - I ain't gonna use them (see how Eastenders is affecting my English)) . I gave my products to my mum. I trust Alex that it coats the hair. She says someone came into the salon, did full permamnet color and it didn't catch cos of BB. So I'm not taking any chances . Besides she wasn't trying to sell me products so I believed her!

Yeah she told me to be careful about the products I use as many cheaper ones contain sillicone which coats the hair and so they dye doesn't take... don't wanna risk that!

I would like my hair even darker, but as I'm quite fair I would need a bit of colour. I think this colour I have now is just right, as the dark brown matches my eyebrows, so it doesn't make me look sallow or pale..
