Bad breath

Bleughh!! Why can't people just brush their teeth?? It's not brain science!! Its revolting, i just had a client come in with dog breath, to make matters worse he leaned into my desk and I had to turn my face away...
Not very polite but neither is bad dental hygiene! ****u...
I felt like offering him a listerine strip!!

you know that its not just about brushing teeth, there was a girl here w/bad breathe, and apparently she brushed her teeth loads and regularly used mouthwash,mints etc,but had to go to the doctors as it was a bigger problem than that...miskeena, i feel for people that have it..if that was me though, i'd never stand too close to people when i spoke to them!

I’m not sure, if people with bad breath, can smell their bad breath. If so, they would permanently hold their hand up to their mouth whist speaking.

But, how do you tell someone they have bad breath without causing them embarrassment ? Would you just offer them a mint and smile in the offer they would take your kind offer.

Or would you advise like Anisa mentioned by informing them on the strongest mouth wash available in the market.

Speaking of dental hygiene, I wonder how many of us floss or even brush their tongue or even brush their teeth a minimum of twice a day.

One of the many reasons I hate the tube is the fact that you have to inhale 'dog' breath. Why do people with bad breath invariably pant - i.e breathe with their mouths open. Closing it would limit the amount of toxic air being blown our way. Unless there are serious dental problems, there is no excuse. Use mints, chewing gum, anything. Bad breath & BO are just plain vile. My tolerance levels are really low as well - I tend to move immediately if someone smelly sits next to me. They may find it offensive but that is mimimal when compared to the amount of people they have sickened with their offensive smell.

Rant over. Oh & yes, I used public transport today & its all too fresh in my mind

I never do the tube in the morning....I find the dog breath factor is especially rampant on the tube at that time. On the bus it doesn't seem so bad...there's more fresh air circulating than there is underground!

I agree with Ghazala...why do people with the stinkiest breath breathe with their mouths wide open? It's rank!

know what u mean about the dog-breath/b.o thing - not good when somewhen smells really. i had to meet with client once and he must have just had eggs for breakfast or something cos his breath stank of egg - it was SO bad i was *this* close to yakking!! :-O
