ok well i will anyway,

I want to rant about some high st brands,I was having a chat w/my flatmate last night and she was saying that she saw a really nice top but it was Playboy so she didn't get it.I agreed that i would never wear it, some of the stuff looks cute enough like a little vest or sthg, but the majority of it is tacky and appeals to wannabe hugh hefner bunny girls.
Am I being out of order here ladies or does anyone else agree?..please explain the attraction of this brand

What other brand do I find annoying? Ok, many will disagree with me but I hate GAP. SJP wannabees. everybody wearing Gap looks like they're trying to hard to be American

But I have to say, I think Playboy takes the biscuit... if you're not a real Bunny, DON'T DO IT!! Just because you wearing something from the Playboy range, it does not mean you are sexy Most of the things in their range are really rather tacky as well..

Like the 'Little Miss' & 'Kitty' range, its ok on underwear, socks & bedwear. Anything else, nope. Apart from anything else, Playboy doesn't represent anything respectable does it?

I know what you mean about GAP. My dad refuses to wear it since he found out what the letters stand for I still like their basics tho'. Same with Benetton

I see your point Anon,I have some bits from GAP but I would never do head to toe, its boring and way too 'American casual'.their chinos annoy the hell out of me! I do think that SJP has spruced up their image,but made herself lose some of that 'Carrie cool' in turn..oh well,shes getting paid so what does she care!!
Other shops that annoy me are NEXT,because I never find anything i like,then i meet a friend wearing sthg lovely she found in there!!.I also can't see the fuss about Monsoon,it doesn't have as dowdy an image as it used to have,there are some gorgeous bits particularly the ethnic looking things(overpriced though)there but sometimes it still looks a bit 'hippy mum' and you end up looking like lamb dressed as mutton
