Hiya girlies, I've decided on getting a small handbag (just for work and stuff), but I can't decide whether to get the one with shorter handles (so that it's hand held) or to get the longer handles (so that it's worn on the shoulder).

I can see the practical advantages to the longer handles, but I think it looks daggy on such a small handbag...

Your opinions please!

I don't like handbags with with really long handles mine are normally small but i can have them either way on the shoulder or hand held.

Hmmm, I don't know why the pictures didn't come out

The handles aren't majorly long, but long enough to make me think the hand held bag is better

Its probably from work, theres alot of sites that we can't go on.

If it was me, if the handles were pretty long, then i'd go for the handheld one

I have FIVE Longchamp bags

Ok, they are all varying sizes but an over the shoulder one is best for work. Nothing hand-held when travelling on public transport hbiba

Talking I shoulda known!!

That's the thing, I like on/over the shoulder for security reasons...but I just think the small handbag looks better with a smaller handle... decisions, decisions I'll pop to Bond Street on my lunch break and make up my mind there I think.

I wanna get mine from the website...you can personalise your bag there and get the flap engraved! But they don't deliver to the UK....Maybe I can get my aunty in Ireland to receive it for me and send it on!

Really? I have to say, I favour the classic ones rather than the ones with zips etc. You know, Longchamp is much cheaper in Maroc Duty Free. However, if you need it now, I would never stand in the way of a girl on a mission

PS: Go for black as you're still a Longchamp virgin
