Hey girls,
I’ve got an oily skin, which is causing me endless problems.. I never had any acne until 3 years ago… They started in my forehead & suddenly disappeared, then reappeared on both cheeks & chin… I have gone to every doctor and skin specialist I heard of & spent loads of money… I’ve used every product on the market that I can think of but with no results… I am really depressed & hate going out… I use make up to hide the huge pimples but after an hour or even less, the make up just looks so ugly… ![]() Please girls help… !!! I don’t live in Britain so I am not familiar with your terms, please explain your ideas & suggestions if you’ve got any.. I am really sad ![]() |

My cousin has acne but it only comes out when she is stressed. Maybe that is what is causing your problem?
All I can say is drink lots of water, it really does help flush out impurities & is much better than any creams. Also, do not let hair fall on your face as that makes it worse - as does foundation. Allow your skin to breathe. |

I used to have acne in my late teens through till when I was about 21. But not extreme acne!
My cure was tea tree oil from the body shop. I used to cleanse, tone and moisturise and then apply the oil directly to the spots and they just started to disappear. I think diet has a big role to play too, so like Ghazala said, plenty of water will help. Also try and cut out some foods and see what triggers it. I have noticed that when I eat large quantities of chocolate I get spots and my skin becomes greasy. My friend gets acne when she has too many eggs or margarine. My brother also had very bad acne and the doctors gave him some medication but it made him have heavy nose-bleeds. Over the years it has calmed down and his skin is a lot clearer… my dad used make him have black seed oil and he washed his face with saboun tous (some type of soap) and alhamdulilah it seems to have worked. |

Ghazala,
Thank you… Ya I do get stressed during study periods, however mine is really too much.. it is scaring my face horribly… I admit that I don’t drink water that much, I rarely do to be honest, mostly milk even when I am thirsty (weird ha?) … I should drink more water… Is there anything else that I could do? |

see, I am already 21 & it seems that it is becoming worse.. we do have body shop here, so maybe they will have what you suggested, I’ll try it, I’ve got really nothing to lose.. I am not a big eater, but I have been actually trying to eat junky food because I want to put on about 5kg… I’ve tried to actually exercise, but I look at my acne & I become so depressed & sad, sit down & cry… |

My big sis had acne till she was 23 then it started to fade away, she tried many different prescribed creams & tablets which didn't help & about a year later it started clearing up by itself.
A friend of mine used the pill to get rid of hers & it worked!! Quote:
