Hi Girls
I'm thinking of getting my hair highlighted again, my roots have started coming out and it looks awful, but im not sure what colour to go for i want something different this time
Any suggestions, my natural hair colour is light black/brown.

Angel, to be honest I think natural is best! Your features tend to show out more and you can really play up your natural beauty.

SA - you only think it doesn't suit you anymore cos the only time you see it is when your hair's growing out and you need to do your roots! Then you think it looks awful... I've seen your hair and I think both colours really suit you.

I'm gonna wait a few months and then get my highlights done again in time for summer!! I like highlights in the summer and dark hair in the winter

Nadia

Yea maybe you right,
it just looks so horrible with the roots showing, i don't know maybe i should leave it all to grow out and then get it done for summer like you, unless it really starts to annoy me

Your natural colour suits you better than anything. I only learnt that after putting a gazillion different colours through mine.

Seeing the roots is the most annoying part. i would say dye it back to a colour which is similar to your natural colour to avoid the horrid root problem. Use a semi-permanent. It took me two years to grow my colour through so be patient. After 9 months or so it will look much better & you can chop it into a bob to get rid of the older hair.

Plus, natural undyed hair is a lot healthier & nicer to look at

Not sure about the bob though, don't know wether it would suit me.
