Has anyone had their hair relaxed in Morocco. If so… how did it turn out?

weeli weeli

Never in Morocco. I once relaxed my hair when I was 16 but a week later & my hair was curlier than before i'd relaxed it

I love the fact that I can have 2 very different looks, i use the remington straightners, my aunt bought the wet2straight & warned me NOT to get one. Burnt some of her hair off

What do you mean "relax" ?! As in straighten?

If so, I let my hair dry naturally and then I GHD it. Sometimes I leave it natural but it does have that perfect look like you get with the GHD.

I think she means those chemicals, that you leave on for 30-40 mins

I used the Dark & Lovely one I could've lost my hair & the black peoples hair is like soofa

Are the GHD ones a good investment then?

Oh dear… not good.
I asked the hairdresser near me how much it would cost and she said £60. Not bad if it actually works.
I wear hijab anyway but it would be nice to see silky smooth her when I take it off instead of my curly frizz.
I have the straightners too, but if you are at a wedding and been dancing for a few hours the result is not nice.
I always wonder how these moroccan girls have such silky smooth hair and why it never frizzes!

Chemicals sound dangerous! I would never do that!

GHD is a GREAT investment. My hair is not curly, just has a slight wave in it when it dries so if I want a pin straight look, I GHD.

My cousin has totally curly hair and the GHD makes her hair look totally straight. It stays that way too.
