New here
Hello everyone
I have been visiting and living in Turkey for the last 15 years and felt it was time for a change, and Morocco has long since been on my list for visiting. However, I have serious walking problems and I am unable to walk far without resting. Holiday companies give little information facilities. I do not use a wheelchair - yet - and I always holiday alone I want to visit Marrakesh and wonder if anyone can recommend hotels that are suitable, and want to visit the Souk. I look forward to reading about Morocco and all it has to offer. cokdeli |

Hi and welcome.
This link may be of use to you. Riad, Marrakech Hotels, Holidays Morocco, Hotel, Riads, Dar in Marrakech, Fes, Essaouira Riads are lovely places to stay if you can get one close to the medina or Djemaa elFna it would be fairly central. You could ask if they have downstairs rooms so avoiding to many stairs. When are you planning to go?

It will be hot hot hot...especially in cities like Marrakesh. We went in April and it was pleasantly warm then. certainly on par with a uk summer.
We did a trip that involved a camel trek in the Sahara, thats why we went early in the year. I'm going to Marrakesh the end of this month as I felt we didn't see all it had to offer last time. We did a tour with a company called roughtours, and got to see much of Morocco it's a lovely country. I hope you enjoy your visit.

Good point about the taxi's, The Riad we'll be staying in offer a airport pickup at 15 euros, so I've gone with that saves they hassle of arguing the price with a taxi driver.
I'll get enough bartering shopping in the Souk ...![]()
