Hello everyone, I am new here, first day. I am an American, my husband is Moroccan, but now an American citizen. We have been married 13 years, he is visting Morocco and decided he doesn't want to live here in America any more. What must we do for divorce? We were married in America. What does he need to do before he can get married again, in Morocco?Thank you. Ms. Patti

Hello and welcome Pibby...Sorry to hear you and your husband feel it's time to divorce. I really don't know about how it works for Moroccans, but surely if you married in USA surely any divorce you get there will be recognised in Morocco. Maybe best if you seek legal advice from a lawyer or whatever. I wish you luck.
