wanting to make friends with people in morocco

Salaam Alikum........It can be lonely living in Marrakech! A lot of men greet you and people are hospitable,but it's not easy to make REAL friends particularly with other women.
I have lived there on and off for a few months and would like to return in 2007 to make my home there.Currently I live in England.I'm an English woman and I'm happy to help Moroccans with their English.
Any suggestions anyone ?

I think people from Marrakkech are nice they're just shy. If the initiative comes from your first I'm sure They'll be happy to become your friends.

im also new hear in morocco but i stay now i casablanca. i was able to visit marrakech last week though... i kinda like the people there... although the place was rather hot... its quite better here, the weather, in casablanca. been here 3 weeks and i have a good feeling il like this place.

im a filipino working here in casablanca, at duty free as an auditor. i hope we could know each other better.

to the rest of the people here in this site... id be happy to share my knowledge in english with you... im hoping to have some friends around..
