Thank you very much for the responses that I got regarding our Moroccan visit. Is there anything highly unusual that most tourists do not get to see that you could share with me?

Get yourself a good guide & get up into the mountains. Climb Toubkal - the highest mountain in North Africa. The berbers up around the area are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. Beautiful scenery too. Your hotel can fix you up with a guide for the mountains. Just make sure you have some good climbing gear and equipment because it is a loooooooooooong walk there & there will be snow at this time of year too Well worth the trek just for the amazing views.

Chefchaouen a lovely place but the food is terrible. We went to different places & the one thing they all have in common is the food is BLAND. Cuisine obviously isn't high up on their list. Guess it wouldnt notice that when you're smashed right?

The food is good at certain resturants
as i recall
especially the prawn tagines
yummyness!
