I have concidered changing my name but have not yet. I may not change it. But since my real name "Christina" means follower of christ it seems inappropriate. Don't you agree?

Muslims are not ashamed at all to be related with the Christ;but what Christ are you talking about ?The christ
(PBUH) of Islam or Christianity.The bible was distorted and
we hav found ourselves among may faulse doctrines that refer to the Christ being curcified and this is contrary to what Islam calls for.So she should better change her name to an Islamic name.This is my stand point.

When people become Christians they are born again...
Leaving the old life behind and starting new.
In reverting to Islam, for me I wanted the same and was renamed.
My family changed their name when they came to the US anyway, to make it sound more American, was a not a decision I needed to think twice about.
