I just joined Morocco.com, but have come across the site several times before. I originally came here to learn Moroccan Arabic, but now I see there is so much more the site has to offer. I live in Denver Colorado, and I have been dating a great guy from Cassablanca. I may be able to accompany him home this summer to visit family and friends, and I want to surprise him by learning some of the languange. I hope to meet some nice people along the way. See you around the site!

We sincerely hope you enjoy the discussions here.
(Please read the Message Board Disclaimer). What's wonderful about this forum is the fact that we have a variety of nationalities and races and religions. I'm sure there are many Moroccans in this forum who would be honoured by your presence and happy to teach you some of their native language. (Not the bad words of course )By the way, i'm non-Moroccan too. Why not post a question in the Language/Langue Board? It would be a learning experience for me as well.

A hearty welcome Trina to m.com. I too am married to a moroccan (woman). My wife tells me that teaching me the language is so difficult. So I went to the language Bd. and learnt some wonderfull phrases. She was very impressed. I must say, however, I've not seen the same level of discussions so far this year.

mohammedia
That's actually where we are going. I thought his parents lived in Casablanca, but he said they live in Mohammedia. My only problem is I don't think I can afford the plane ticket. And I can only get about a week off from work. I will see. Hopefully I will get to go.

i can provide you with my home phone number and i would be glad to teach some of the moroccan dialog over the phone or however you would like . That is so nice of you. That is the hardest part for me is getting the pronounciation correct. I have a hard time making my tounge do things it wasn't trained to do all these years! We will have to find some secure place to exchange info. Trina |
